the new post-apocalyptic trilogy by author Peter Chordas

On the outskirts of an abandoned city, a nameless warrior rides alone across a land of ruins. His only possessions: an ancient sword, a deadly machine, and a promise. Cast out by his Tribe, he rides through desert wastes, lifeless forests, and haunted plains as he searches for Inanis, a place known in rumor as the ‘the Village with No Memory.’ But rumors are seldom what they seem—and some promises can never be forgotten.

When the village’s only source of water runs suddenly dry, he must ride back into the desert to find help before it’s too late—and in so doing, fulfill the deadly promise of his past. Now he has but one chance to regain his Tribe’s acceptance—but to do so he must risk everything, even if it means being lost forever among the Nameless Dead.

In a wasteland overrun by superstition, desperate brigands, and harrowing remnants of destructive machinery left over from the Old World, the fate of humanity teeters on the edge of a blade.

This is Terragaste: Tale of the Red Star Knight.

Influenced by classic literature and the urgency of our own teetering modern world, the Tale of the Red Star Knight will transport you into the ruins of a shattered realm, where the only truth is uncertainty. As the opening salvo of an epic trilogy, the Tale of the Red Star Knight begins the first story set in the Terragaste world, and marks the début literary offering of new author Peter Chordas.

Taking inspiration from Booke One of Sir Edmund Spenser’s great epic, The Faerie Queene, the Tale of the Red Star Knight blends classic literary sensibilities with the hard-hitting ferocity of modern apocalyptic fiction. Part one of this exciting new epic is scheduled for completion this year.
